Day 25 Favorite Underrated Horror Villain — October 26, 2020

Day 25 Favorite Underrated Horror Villain

There are many different underrated horror villains from movies that never got the recognition it was deserved.

There are even top ten lists about it from Jerry from Stepdad to Victor Crowley from Hatchet; there’s just so many undervalued horror villains.

One of my favorite underrated horror villains is Harry Warden the mining killer from My Bloody Valentine. Released in 1981 My Bloody Valentine has the similar theme of Halloween where the killer only comes out on said specific Holiday. This one is Valentine’s Day and yes it gets quite Bloody but it’s also very cheesy and does have a bit of a scare jump factor to it. Definitely check it out.

Day 24 Favorite Nightmare on Elm Street Movie —

Day 24 Favorite Nightmare on Elm Street Movie

A Nightmare on Elm Street was released in 1984 and was created by the horror Master known as Wes Craven. The film was successful as the main role of Freddy Krueger was played by the iconic Robert England who made us all afraid to go to sleep. The film spawned eight more movies throughout the years and has a huge following.

Which one of these eight movies is your favorite one?

Personally yes I love the original it is my favorite but after that I’d have to say 5: The Dream Child. It follows A nightmare on elm street 4: The Dream Master and by now the movies have developed a somewhat storyline which is always interesting especially In horror.

Day 23 Favorite Scream Queen — October 23, 2020

Day 23 Favorite Scream Queen

Scream Queens are an essential piece to horror films and many either die or end up surviving throughout the horror movie. Many favorites include Jamie Lee Curtis, Janet Leigh, and Tippi Hedren.

My favorite scream Queen is none other than Marilyn Burns from the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre the dinner scene and the ending where she’s running from Leatherface while he’s swinging his chainsaw chasing her as she escapes. If you haven’t seen the original I really recommend watching it. It has it all!

Day 20 favorite Halloween food — October 21, 2020

Day 20 favorite Halloween food

There’s many ways we like to enjoy Halloween with our favorite meals or take out. From pizza to Chinese or back in the day McDonald’s with the Halloween pales which were so awesome back in the 80’s.

My favorite Halloween food is pizza usually it’s either frozen pizza or I order out because it makes Halloween night a little bit easier and pizza always goes with scary movies.

Day 19 Pumpkin flavored something or other — October 19, 2020

Day 19 Pumpkin flavored something or other

There’s so many different goodies to eat and bake that are pumpkin flavored and let’s not forget pumpkin spice coffee!

One of my favorite pumpkin flavored something or other are pumpkin spice donuts they’re just so delicious and taste almost like muffins. Dunkin Donuts also have these delicious pumpkin muffin donut holes!

What do you enjoy that’s pumpkin flavored?

Day 18 favorite costume —

Day 18 favorite costume

There’s so many millions upon millions of costumes to choose from so this is definitely a tough choice but my favorite costume that I’ve ever worn is my favorite fictional character The Mad Hatter from Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland.

What’s been one of your favorite Halloween costume?

Day 17 favorite death scene —

Day 17 favorite death scene

There are so many fantastic death scenes in horror movies from the alien popping out of the chest to Michael Myers taking a gun and shoving it you know where to the Sheriff’s daughter in Halloween 4.

One of my favorite death scenes is the end of Hostel 2 where Beth literally cuts off Simon’s male genitalia and feeds it to the dog. It was complete shock when it happened but if you watch the movie again you’re rooting for Beth since Simon bid on Beth to torture and kill her.

It’s a good and justified death scene and if you haven’t seen Hostel 2 definitely check it out.

Day 16 favorite monster — October 16, 2020

Day 16 favorite monster

Monsters are the real bane of movies and have been since the beginning of cinematic history. From Giant spiders to giant dinosaurs there’s a whole wide variety of monster movies. My favorite monster movie is the original 1954 Godzilla.

The original Godzilla was made as a horror film in 1954 from the Hiroshima bombing. The movie throughout has an eerie feeling to it even when Godzilla finally makes land. After all of his mayhem and destruction they show very scary and similar wounds and deaths from the Hiroshima bombing. It was truly a terrible historic event.

If you’ve only seen the American version stating Raymond Burr I highly recommend watching the original Japanese release of Godzilla.

Day 15 favorite 2000 horror movie —

Day 15 favorite 2000 horror movie

The 2000’s had a mix everything from remakes and reboots to creatures and paranormal movies.

My favorite movie during that decade is Final Destination because it had pure fear factor and the element of surprise because they were trying to cheat death. Final Destination also went on to have a handful of sequels but the first one Is always the best. Check it out it’s a fun scary movie.

Day 13/14 favorite 80’s horror and favorite 90’s horror — October 13, 2020

Day 13/14 favorite 80’s horror and favorite 90’s horror

For Day 13 it’s favorite 80’s horror film!

The 80’s had everything from Slashers, aliens, robots, and even monsters.

My favorite 80’s horror film is Clive Barker’s Hellraiser. Hellraiser released in 1987 stating Douglas Bradley as Pinhead the lead cinobite. I really recommend watching this if you’re a horror fan because the storyline is addictive and inquisitive.

Day 14 favorite 90’s horror film

The 90’s had a lot of slasher films with Top billing movies such as Scream and I know what you did last summer.

My favorite 90’s horror movie comes from Tim Burton and was released in 1999.

Sleepy Hollow had such a rich cast and I dearly love the old tale of the headless horseman. I watch this every single year whether it’s on TV or another streaming platform. If you’re a fan of Tim Burton movies this is definitely one to watch.
