Day 25 Favorite Underrated Horror Villain — October 26, 2020

Day 25 Favorite Underrated Horror Villain

There are many different underrated horror villains from movies that never got the recognition it was deserved.

There are even top ten lists about it from Jerry from Stepdad to Victor Crowley from Hatchet; there’s just so many undervalued horror villains.

One of my favorite underrated horror villains is Harry Warden the mining killer from My Bloody Valentine. Released in 1981 My Bloody Valentine has the similar theme of Halloween where the killer only comes out on said specific Holiday. This one is Valentine’s Day and yes it gets quite Bloody but it’s also very cheesy and does have a bit of a scare jump factor to it. Definitely check it out.

Day 24 Favorite Nightmare on Elm Street Movie —

Day 24 Favorite Nightmare on Elm Street Movie

A Nightmare on Elm Street was released in 1984 and was created by the horror Master known as Wes Craven. The film was successful as the main role of Freddy Krueger was played by the iconic Robert England who made us all afraid to go to sleep. The film spawned eight more movies throughout the years and has a huge following.

Which one of these eight movies is your favorite one?

Personally yes I love the original it is my favorite but after that I’d have to say 5: The Dream Child. It follows A nightmare on elm street 4: The Dream Master and by now the movies have developed a somewhat storyline which is always interesting especially In horror.

Day 23 Favorite Scream Queen — October 23, 2020

Day 23 Favorite Scream Queen

Scream Queens are an essential piece to horror films and many either die or end up surviving throughout the horror movie. Many favorites include Jamie Lee Curtis, Janet Leigh, and Tippi Hedren.

My favorite scream Queen is none other than Marilyn Burns from the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre the dinner scene and the ending where she’s running from Leatherface while he’s swinging his chainsaw chasing her as she escapes. If you haven’t seen the original I really recommend watching it. It has it all!

Day 19 Pumpkin flavored something or other — October 19, 2020

Day 19 Pumpkin flavored something or other

There’s so many different goodies to eat and bake that are pumpkin flavored and let’s not forget pumpkin spice coffee!

One of my favorite pumpkin flavored something or other are pumpkin spice donuts they’re just so delicious and taste almost like muffins. Dunkin Donuts also have these delicious pumpkin muffin donut holes!

What do you enjoy that’s pumpkin flavored?

Day 18 favorite costume —

Day 18 favorite costume

There’s so many millions upon millions of costumes to choose from so this is definitely a tough choice but my favorite costume that I’ve ever worn is my favorite fictional character The Mad Hatter from Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland.

What’s been one of your favorite Halloween costume?

Day 13/14 favorite 80’s horror and favorite 90’s horror — October 13, 2020

Day 13/14 favorite 80’s horror and favorite 90’s horror

For Day 13 it’s favorite 80’s horror film!

The 80’s had everything from Slashers, aliens, robots, and even monsters.

My favorite 80’s horror film is Clive Barker’s Hellraiser. Hellraiser released in 1987 stating Douglas Bradley as Pinhead the lead cinobite. I really recommend watching this if you’re a horror fan because the storyline is addictive and inquisitive.

Day 14 favorite 90’s horror film

The 90’s had a lot of slasher films with Top billing movies such as Scream and I know what you did last summer.

My favorite 90’s horror movie comes from Tim Burton and was released in 1999.

Sleepy Hollow had such a rich cast and I dearly love the old tale of the headless horseman. I watch this every single year whether it’s on TV or another streaming platform. If you’re a fan of Tim Burton movies this is definitely one to watch.

Day 11 Favorite 70’s Horror movie — October 11, 2020

Day 11 Favorite 70’s Horror movie

The 70’s were filled with so many cheesy b rate horror films from The Exorcist to John Carpenter’s Halloween. It was a weird and experimental time for film makers.

My favorite 70’s horror film is Don Coscarelli’s Phantasm. Angus Scrimm, who sadly passed away in 2016, plays the character known as The Tall Man who is the mortician at this funeral home in a small town. He just has the scare presence and was able to bring fear throughout the movie.

I really recommend checking this movie out if you haven’t.

I’m really excited for October especially with Halloween approaching but I’m going to make it the whole month of October and do a 31 days of Halloween social media challenge. I’ll post something new each day with the theme of Halloween.

There is too much going on right now and yes i’ll be honest the election and everything else going on it’s getting too dreary so time to push dreary aside and get some freaking happy going!

Feel to join in the fun I know a lot of you will also be doing a 31 days of Halloween because it’s HALLOWEEN TIME!
